The reason I use Roxy to support this program is to encompass a love of animals and attachment to a lovely dog to enjoy whilst learning to read. Being with a pet and even interacting virtually can relax a child and raise the feel-good factor to support learning. Roxy is an almost perfect, attentive listener! Giving children the opportunity to read back to Roxy can develop their confidence in a non- judgemental way.
